Tate & Lyle Dark Brown Soft Sugar is similar to what we know in the Netherlands as dark brown caster sugar. The big difference is that this English version is softer and therefore more easily absorbed. The dark version of Tate & Lyle also has a somewhat 'molasses' taste, such as the full taste of dark syrup.
