In 1882 they started 'harvesting' salt flakes in the coastal town of Maldon. Over 100 years later technology has moved on and so have the production facilities in Maldon. But that doesn't stop them from harvesting by hand in this modern age. The pure flavour and the bigger flakes make Maldon salt loved by chefs and home cooks all over the world.
