Maseca
Maseca is made from 100% natural corn and is vital for the good diet, the high nutritional value and is synonymous with health and energy. Maseca is a global Gruma brand that has enabled us to bring the taste of Mexico around the world with a product that represents taste, health and quality, such as tortillas and products derived from cornmeal.In 1949 we established the first "nixtamal" corn flour facility in the world in Cerralvo, Nuevo Leon. Maseca was the name that Mr. Roberto González Barrera gave to this revolutionary product, which comes from "masa seca" (dry dough), i.e. dehydrated corn flour.
