Formerly known as Gaymers Olde English Cyder Olde English is a brand of cider. Unlike most English ciders being grown in the west of the country in counties, Gaymer's originated in eastern England around 1770.

“Ye Olde English Cyder” was apparently designed for the American market in 1939, but never shipped out due to the outbreak of the Second World War: it was sold in the UK as a special offer during the war and until 1950, and then became a standard product of the company
